Spring Weather in Myrtle Beach

Spring in Myrtle Beach brings comfortable, temperate weather. You can expect daytime highs in the mid-60s in March, getting up into the high 70s by mid-May. There isn’t a huge amount of rain this time of year; though you may get a shower from time to time, you can expect mostly clear skies.

During the night, the temperatures do drop, so you’ll want to plan and pack accordingly. In March, nights can still get as cool as the low 40s, but by May, you shouldn’t have any temperatures below about 60, day or night.

If you don’t want to endure the scorching days of summer, the spring weather just may be the best time for you to visit Myrtle Beach.

You can’t spend your spring break by the beach and not actually go to the beach! The city of Myrtle Beach has a whopping 60 miles of coastline. And all of it is stunning and incredibly inviting.

With all of those miles, you are sure to find the perfect patch of sand and sun to lay your towel down.

You can explore the public beach right in the center of town, just by the Boardwalk. Or head out to Myrtle Beach State Park and explore slightly quieter stretches of sand there.
